Mohamed Elsaban is a driven Computer Science student at Carleton University, specializing in Cybersecurity. Born on June 11, 2005, in Cairo, Egypt, and currently residing in Ottawa, Ontario, Mohamed has a strong passion for technology and has demonstrated resilience throughout his journey. A former professional karate athlete with a black belt and over 10 years of experience, he placed 5th in the Olympic qualifiers before the pandemic interrupted his goals. Beyond martial arts, Mohamed is an active member of the Carleton Aerospace Astrophysics Radio Club, contributing to the Command and Data Handling team that successfully launched a CubeSat prototype into space in 2024. He is proficient in Java and Python, fluent in English and Arabic, and conversational in German. With his diverse skill set, Mohamed is eager to continue exploring cybersecurity and embrace new challenges.
